  • Biography

    Jonathan is a Counselling Psychologist and works as a lecturer in the Counselling and Behavioural Science programs in the School of Arts & Sciences on the Fremantle campus.  He has worked extensively as a practitioner in both public and private settings including the Sexual Assault Resource Centre, Abbotsford Private Hospital, Youth Focus, Sexual Health Quarters, and The Autism Association of WA.  Jonathan also currently works in private practice, providing therapeutic services for a wide range of clients and presenting issues.

    Jonathan’s Masters research focused on the lived experience of transgender people in Western Australia, and he has presented at numerous conferences and training seminars in the fields of sexuality, gender, and trauma.

    Jonathan has taught counselling and psychology units at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels since 2017 at Notre Dame and Curtin, and has given guest lectures at ECU and Murdoch.
