School of Law & Business, Fremantle Campus

Our School is widely recognised for our focus on the real world of business. With a highly flexible program offering, you may choose to pursue either a single or double major in the areas of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Public Relations or Sport & Recreation Management.

Through our exclusive internship program, you will gain the expertise, knowledge, confidence and practical skills necessary to adapt and excel in the highly competitive business environment. You may have the opportunity to complete your business internship at an international organisation to give you valuable insight into an economically, culturally and politically different business community from Australia’s own.

  • Business Internship Program – #1 in WA graduate employment

    The Business Internship is a core (and compulsory) component of the School of Business program and is both developmental and experiential in nature. The program involves three phases:

    • Phase One consists of a series of seminars covering topics such as current employment demographics, resume writing, interview preparation and general workplace conduct;
    • Phase Two includes a series of presentations and seminars from industry leaders; and
    • Phase Three is your internship.

    Having industry experience to add to your formal qualification gives a competitive edge while also helping you identify key skills you may need to develop for your business career.

  • Mentoring/Academic support

    Notre Dame’s Mentor Program aims to smooth the transition from school (or work) to university life by linking first year students with student mentors.

    In addition, Student Success helps students formulate their goals and develop the skills and confidence needed to attain them. Student Success offers a range of courses and programs, plus support for students with special educational requirements.

  • Facilities

    As part of the University infrastructure, the School provides access to lecture rooms, a well-equipped library and several dedicated information technology rooms. St Teresa’s Library, located on Bateman Courtyard, has a large collection of printed books, including specialist business texts, audio visual resources, study rooms, open access PCs, study tables, colour printers and extensive online resources relating to business.
