  • Biography

Jenny completed undergraduate studies at Northumbria University, Newcastle, England, graduating with first class honours in Applied Sport and Exercise Science. Following, Jenny pursued an MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology, also at Northumbria University, completing her dissertation in collaboration with Newcastle United Football Club, investigating the impact of asthma medication on exercise-induced bronchoconstriction in asymptomatic athletes. In December 2016, Jenny received her PhD from Edith Cowan University, titled ‘The Efficacy of Periodised Resistance Training in Older Adults’. Jenny is a firm believer that ‘exercise is medicine’, and is dedicated to promote the use of resistance training in the health and wellbeing setting, striving to combat the burden of chronic disease in Western society through more effective, sustainable and economic methods.
