Welcome from the Dean
Professor Joan Squelch
Would you like to study law in an environment where you are challenged and supported? Where you can learn the practical aspects of law, in addition to theory?
Where you can study in a historic court and where you can be mentored by a practising lawyer, all in the beautiful West End of Fremantle?
If that’s the case, then you should consider studying law at The University of Notre Dame Australia’s School of Law, Fremantle. You can commence studying your Bachelor of Laws (LLB) straight after secondary school or after completing another degree. You can also study law in combination with another degree such as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Commerce. The School also offers a Master of Laws (LLM) (by research) and a Doctor of Philosophy (by research).
Our academic staff teach in an interactive manner and emphasise ethics. Students also have the option of studying abroad, in such destinations as England, France and Ireland. They can also participate in many academic competitions, including international and national moot competitions. The Notre Dame Law Students’ Society also organises many social and professional events to ensure that students have the best experience possible while attending the School.
Whether you hope to work in law, business, academia, journalism, politics, human rights, social justice or one of the many different careers that our School can prepare you for after you graduate, the Notre Dame School of Law, Fremantle, warmly welcomes you.
