  • Biography

    Annie Das is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and is the laboratory Coordinator which entails teaching and assessment of all skills units throughout the 3 years in the undergrad curriculum. She has taught in many different units in the undergrad curriculum in the 10 years she has been with university.

    Her experience in higher education started in Edith Cowan University teaching in skills and communication units for 4 years including accreditation of students in basic life support. As an academic, Annie has been involved in various committees and hospital projects.

    Annie has been nursing for more than twenty years and still works as an agency nurse where she is employed in a wide variety of clinical settings.

  • Teaching areas

    Annie has held a position of laboratory coordinator since 2008. Her main role is to collaborate with unit coordinators to develop the content, method of teaching and assessments. She incorporates latest research and evidence based practices in the units and integrate simulation to authenticate skills that are taught.
