  • Biography

    Judith is a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife having more than 29 years of clinical experience both nationally and internationally. She has formal qualifications in information technology and nursing education. Judith holds a Master of Midwifery (theory practice gap) and a PhD where she explored contemporary birthing experiences of Aboriginal women.

    Judith has extensive experience as an academic having taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level in both Nursing and Midwifery. Holding an Associate Dean role for the past 5 years, Judith led the development of the the University's inaugural Graduate Diploma of Midwifery course which commenced in July 2012. Currently Judith is the Acting Associate Dean at the School, and as a senior academic leader, also teaches students and mentors staff.
