  • Biography

    Julie has been nursing for over 35 years and has practised across various areas in both metropolitan and regional facilities. With a special interest in Aged Care she has pursued further studies in this field and maintains links with industry. She has taught in the VET sector and with Edith Cowan University before joining the School of Nursing and Midwifety at Notre Dame in 2008. During 2021 she undertook COVID-19 related clincial activities and returned to the university in 2022.

  • Teaching areas

    Has taught in areas such as fundamentals of nursing, clinical skills, advanced wound care, pathophsiology, pharmacology, health assessment, social and cultural diversity in health, and clinical practicum. She has also coordinated the EN to BN articulation pathway, and undertaken the role of Assistant Postgraduate Coordinator overseeing the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing and the Graduate Diploma of Perioperative Nursing.
