The School of Medicine supports every student to become a skilled, caring and ethical doctor through a program that focusses on bioethics, rural medicine, palliative care and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. In Years 1 and 2, the curriculum is delivered through problem-based learning in small groups led by experienced clinicians, followed by clinical placements in Years 3 and 4. The School is based at the Darlinghurst campus, one of the most prestigious medical and research precincts in Australia, with seven clinical schools in Sydney, Melbourne and rural NSW.
