  • Biography

    Associate Professor Frankie Merritt is a First Nations Australian, a Kamilaroi man, who is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist. He also has a PhD (cum laude) in psychology and is a current member of the External Advisory Group of the Australian Child & Adolescent Trauma, Loss & Grief Network. Frankie has had many journal articles and book chapters published on decolonisation, curriculum development and Aboriginal grief and loss, and is also an international reviewer with two journals. Frankie works at the SoMS as the Head of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.
