The School of Medicine in Sydney and Fremantle have achieved great success. This has been made possible with the support and encouragement from our community. Contributions from our donors, alumni, health partners, physicians and friends has been immeasurable. From physicians inviting students into their practices, patients allowing students to observe and donors providing generous and much needed scholarship and research funding and support we could not be more grateful.

Medical Students’ Assistance Fund
The School of Medicine, Fremantle has established the Medical Students’ Assistance Fund to provide immediate and vital financial assistance to students who are experiencing unexpected hardship.
We are seeking support from our community. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by June 2020.

The Churack Chair of Chronic Pain
In 2013, The University of Notre Dame Australia launched a new initiative which aims to reduce the impact of chronic pain in our community through research and the education of medical students in the area of chronic pain management.

The Amanda McBride Memorial Fund
Associate Professor Amanda McBride was one of the founding academics of the School of Medicine, Sydney. Amanda’s commitment to students and passion for clinical medicine helped shape the medical program.
As a tribute to Amanda’s life and work, the Amanda McBride Memorial Fund supports medical students in the fields of general practice, primary health care, preventative medicine and primary care policy. Gifts to this fund provide much needed support to students and further the School’s strong focus on developing clinically excellent, caring and ethical doctors.

The Joshua Scott Paul Benevolent Fund helps to alleviate financial burden for School of Medicine, Sydney students and their families who are in crisis or who may be experiencing unexpected hardship. Your gifts can make an immediate impact on their university experience, and represent a belief in, and commitment to, their future.

This fund supports activities and priorities such as visiting scholars, guest speakers, innovative medical education projects, student leadership activities and other educational priorities that support the advancement of the School.
Used at the discretion of the Dean, this fund provides greater freedom to pursue opportunities and support essential needs in furthering our mission.
