Medical Students' Assistance Fund

The School of Medicine, Fremantle has established the Medical Students’ Assistance Fund to provide immediate and vital financial assistance to students who are experiencing unexpected hardship.

The loss of a loved one, unforeseen changes in employment, a burglary or a car accident.

These events are beyond a student’s control. When they arise, they can place sudden financial pressure on students, making it difficult for them to continue their studies. The Medical Students’ Assistance Fund will help to ensure that Medicine students can continue their education despite difficult circumstances – minimising the impact of a crisis by providing immediate, short-term financial support.

We are seeking your support. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by June 2020.

The availability of funds dictates how many students can be supported.
Contributions from alumni, parents, staff and friends of the University will ensure we can support Medicine students who find themselves in distress.

Every gift, regardless of size, will make a positive difference.

Your donations will allow aspiring doctors to focus on their studies without the pressure of financial uncertainty.
