Student Grants for Widening Participation

Our student grant schemes assist students during times of change and emergency and ensure they have the best chance to continue or complete their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia

Get Set Grant

The Get Set Grant assists students as they commence their university journey at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

The first steps that students face at university can be daunting for all, especially for students from underrepresented backgrounds or who may face financial hardship. The Get Set Grant provides funding to assist students with one-off costs as they embark on their studies, such as purchasing a laptop, books, uniforms and other equipment associated with studying.

Student Hardship Assistance Fund

The Student Hardship Assistance Fund supports students with emergency financial assistance so that they can continue their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia

Like many of us, students face unforeseen emergencies during their studies, such as health issues, loss of work, family issues, domestic violence, and extreme weather events. These one-off grants pay for groceries, medical expenses, emergency travel or relocation, or utility bills, ensuring our most deserving and vulnerable students can continue their education despite unexpected adversity.

Practicum Support Scheme

The Practicum Support Scheme assists students as they complete their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

Notre Dame prides itself on the professional experiences we offer that ensure our graduates are work ready. However, during their practicum, students may be unable to work part-time to support themselves, and many face additional costs. The Practicum Support Scheme relieves students in financial need, ensuring all students have the best chance possible to complete this essential and critical portion of their studies.
