First Aid Officers

If you require first aid, there are fully-trained First Aid Officers on each of our campuses. Almost every major building at Notre Dame has its own in-house officers and basic First Aid kits.

Each campus has first aid officers located in various buildings. Please refer to them if you require a first aid officer.

  • Sydney

    There are fully trained First Aid Officers across the Broadway and Darlinghurst campuses. They can be found at most of the major facilities, such as Pioneer House, Buckland House, the Library and St Benedict’s.

    Defibrillators are located at Pioneer House Reception and Level 2 Reception on the Darlinghurst Campus. If the emergency is life-threatening, please call 000 and ask for an ambulance. There are emergency services available at both the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on Missenden Road, Camperdown, and St Vincent’s Hospital, 300 Victoria Road, Darlinghurst.

  • Fremantle

    The Fremantle campus is equipped with a dedicated First Aid Room, defibrillators, First Aid Kits and First Aid Officers which can be located on the Campus First Aid Map.  You can also consult the First Aid Officers directory

    For emergencies dial 000 and ask for an ambulance then contact your closest First Aid Officer indicated on the First Aid Map.

  • Broome

    The university’s hostel, Nulungu Research Institute, Administration Centre and Library are all equipped with First Aid Kits. There are several trained First Aid Officers on the Broome Campus.

    For more serious injuries or out-of-hours emergencies, proceed immediately to Broome Hospital on Robinson Street, which operates a 24-hour emergency medical service, or dial 000 and request an ambulance.

If you are confronted by a life-threatening emergency, please call 000 and request an ambulance. For all other medical emergencies, please follow the instructions below.
