What is a Volunteer Patient?

Volunteer Simulated Patients (VSP) at the School of Medicine, Sydney support medical students to become excellent, caring and ethical doctors

What does a VSP do?

Our VSP’s work with students in small, interactive teaching sessions and role- play patients to assist our medical students learn history taking, communication skills and basic physical examinations. Our VSP’s are asks to learn a script about the patient they will be role playing.
