Collaboration tools and spaces

Collaboration tools

IT provides collaboration tools for students to communicate internally and externally.

Zoom

Zoom can be used for group presentations in specialized rooms or individual use via personal devices.
How to Zoom

Teams

Use Teams to share documents, chat, work on projects, complete daily tasks, or share new ideas in one place. Work on documents in real-time, use video conference and screen share to meet in one virtual location.

Collaboration spaces

There are plenty of places on campus where you can find a spot to study, whether in our residence halls, the library, or any other spaces. All these areas are designed with students in mind, and they offer Wi-Fi access, charging stations, and printers for you to use.

Computer labs and libraries

Our libraries offer open-access workstations with desktop computers that you can use for independent study. You can also use these workstations to charge your device or access wireless internet, so you can take charge of your study. The library spaces also provide assistive technology and print services that you can use.

Silent study rooms

Each library on campus has group study rooms that can be booked for up to two hours. These rooms have a computer, whiteboard, and large AV screens, making them great for collaborative work. You can book a room by visiting the Library website or directly at bookings.library.nd.edu.au.

Clubs and association

Clubs and associations can access a desktop computer, printer, and Wi-Fi. ITO provides printing supplies which are delivered directly to the device location. They also manage the setup, maintenance, and repair of these devices.
