From our residence halls to the library and many spaces in-between, there are numerous spots on campus for you to find a place to study, grab coffee, socialise or have some quiet time.
All spaces are designed with students in mind with Wi-Fi access, charging stations and printers available to use. Check out places to study, catch up, collaborate and chill out on campus.
Student common areas are available to chill between classes, catch up with friends or do some study over lunch. These general spaces come with a range of furniture and are open to all students. They’re just one way to make campus your home away from home.

Computer labs and libraries
Don't have a laptop? Or maybe you need certain software? Check out the open-access workstations with desktop computers for independent study in any of our libraries. Plug in your device to charge or access wireless to take your study to a comfortable chair, lounge or bean bag. Assistive technology and print services are available throughout the library spaces.

Access the media and communications computer lab for access to specialty software for recording, animation or design. Chat to the lab co-ordinator to organise a time to access these faculties.

Quiet/ Silent study
If you're in research mode, catching up on your reading or have a deadline looming, head to a quiet spot to give yourself space to think.
St Teresa's Library in Fremantle and St Benedicts Library on Sydney's Broadway campus provides access to silent study rooms as well as individual study spaces for a quiet place to study.
Clubs and associations
Clubs and associations have access to a club desktop computer, printer and University wireless networks. Printing supplies are provided by ITO and are delivered direct to the device location. Support for set up, maintenance and repair of these devices is managed by ITO.
Chill, chat or study outside any time of the year with uninterrupted access to our wireless networks.
