In our Blackboard learning management system you can access your course materials including pre-recorded or streamed lectures, as well as self-led or interactive tutorials and links to course readings. Blackboard allows you to learn wherever and whenever you are online.
Please note that Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome are the recommended web browsers for Blackboard. Some Blackboard functionality may not work properly when accessed via other browsers such as Internet Explorer or Apple Safari.
Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing tool that allows presentions and interaction, sharing of applications and files, a virtual whiteboard and a variety of other tools that facilitate anonymous polls, group work, session recording and more.
Turnitin is a useful tool for education about Academic Integrity (AI). The Turnitin quick guide explains the two major functions of Turnitin and outlines the steps to using it successfully, also providing the links to the guides that will help you with the task.
A suite of office productivity applications that includes Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Students are able to access the latest version of Microsoft Office at home for university-related purposes as part of the University's Microsoft Agreement. Office install must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the licensing agreement.
Zoom is a virtual meeting room (VMR) and video conferencing system ideal for online classes and meetings. Zoom accounts are provided to all current students and staff, and all you need to do is log in with your Notre Dame username and password. Zoom is our recommended tool for internal and external communication and collaboration.
Student files and folders are stored on a central storage system known as shared drives.
- H:\ Drive - Home drive linked to an individual student account. (Cannot be seen by other students)
- S:\ Drive - Student drive to share files and folders with students.
These shared drives are available on all computers on campus and via remote access using the File Server. All shared drives are accessible with the same folder structure found on the shared drives on campus computers.
OneDrive is the personal file storage available with Microsoft 365. OneDrive is useful for saving personal study-related files, initial document drafts, and files online.

- Change Password: Change your password before or after it has expired.
- Unlock Account: Restore access if your account is locked out.
- Forgot Password: Use to reset your password.
