  • The Bernadette Magee Scholarship for Regional WA Students

    Value: $5,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students from regional Western Australia to commence or continue their undergraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled as a domestic full-time student in an undergraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle;
    b. Have a permanent home address in Western Australia at a distance of at least 100 kilometres from the Perth GPO (measured in a straight line); and
    c. Have been a resident of Western Australia for at least 5 years.

  • The University of Notre Dame Australia Bushfire Relief Scholarship

    Value: up to $10,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students who have been impacted by the recent 2019/2020 bushfires and who wish to commence or continue their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled, or be in receipt of an offer, as a domestic full-time student in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia; and
    2. Be affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires, which may include;
      1. Personal or family loss; and/or
      2. Property loss or damage; and/or
      3. Loss of income; and/or
      4. Unforeseen hardship and/or costs.

  • The Bupa International Student Award

    Value: $1,000 (Up to 3 Awards)

    The purpose of the Award is to assist and encourage international students, enrolled at The University of Notre Dame Australia, to be involved in the life and culture of the University and the broader community.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled as an international student at the University in an undergraduate or postgraduate award course;
    2. Continue their enrolment at the University for a minimum of one semester post-award; and
    3. Be a student of good academic standing.

    Students enrolled in Study Abroad or Exchange courses are ineligible.

  • The Catenian Association (Province 20) Youth Scholarship

    Value: $4,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage a meritorious student for the duration of their studies, for whom educational opportunities are limited, for example, because of financial need, distance, or responsibility for others, such as the ill or elderly. The aim of the Scholarship is to advance the interests of young Catholics and to assist them in the choice or pursuit of a career.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled as a full time student at the University's Fremantle Campus;
    2. Have completed at least 1 year full time study towards their first undergraduate degree (with the exception of students enrolled in the School of Medicine);
    3. Be 18 to 24 years of age; and
    4. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

    Please note that this Scholarship is awarded for the duration of the recipient’s studies and applications will reopen in 2021 for the 2022 Scholarship.

  • The Catholic Women's League of Western Australia (Inc.) Scholarship

    Value: $3,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage meritorious female students at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle, for whom educational opportunities are limited because of financial need. These students will have demonstrated drive and commitment to the principles of the Catholic Women’s League, with special consideration to applicants with a permanent home address of 160 kilometres or more from the Perth CBD.

    To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled in an undergraduate or research degree at the Fremantle campus of The University of Notre Dame Australia;
    2. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of the Catholic Women’s League (as outlined in APPENDIX 1 of the Scholarship Conditions) through a personal statement enclosed in the Scholarship application; and
    3. Inform the University if in receipt of any other scholarship.

  • The Chisholm Catholic College Scholarship

    Value: first year tuition fees, up to a maximum of $12,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist a Year 12 student from Chisholm Catholic College who wishes to commence their undergraduate studies in any school at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

    1. Have graduated or be due to graduate from full time Year 12 studies at Chisholm Catholic College in the year immediately prior to the year in which the Scholarship commences;
    2. Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at the Fremantle Campus of the University; and
    3. Be able to demonstrate drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial hardship or other personal difficulty.

  • The Fr PJ McGuire Scholarship

    Value: $2,500

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to support students of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, with a preference for Kimberley students, studying at the Broome, Fremantle or Sydney Campus of The University of Notre Dame Australia.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be and state that he/she identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and is recognised by his/her community as a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent;
    2. Be enrolled or accepted for enrolment in an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or VET course at The University of Notre Dame Australia;
    3. Be undertaking their studies internally; and
    4. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

    Value: $2,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students who have demonstrated drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial need or other personal difficulty, in order to commence or continue their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled full time;
    2. Be undertaking their studies internally; and
    3. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

    Value: $3,500

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students to continue their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle. These students will have demonstrated drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial need or other personal difficulty.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
    2. Be enrolled full time from second year onward at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle;
    3. Be undertaking their studies internally; and
    4. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

    Please note: this Scholarship is only open to students enrolled from second year onward in 2021.

    Value: $2,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students in financial need and who have demonstrated their contribution to community service, who are commencing their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
    2. Be enrolled full time in their first year of studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle;
    3. Be undertaking their studies internally;
    4. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances and exemplary community service, personal volunteer efforts and active involvement in helping others, as set out in the Selection Criteria.

  • The Shire of Christmas Island Scholarship

    Value: $5,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist a Year 12 student from the Christmas Island District High School who wishes to commence their undergraduate studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    These students will have demonstrated drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial hardship or other personal difficulty. The Scholarship may support a student who wishes to study in any School at the University’s Fremantle Campus.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Have graduated or be due to graduate from full time Year 12 studies at the Christmas Island District High School in the year immediately prior to the year in which the Scholarship commences;
    2. Have been accepted as a full time first year student in an undergraduate degree or Tertiary Pathway Program student at the University;
    3. Be planning to undertake their studies at the University internally;
    4. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

  • The Vice Chancellor’s Humanitarian Scholarship

    Value: tuition fees 

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students holding one of the classes of visa listed in Appendix 1 of the Scholarship Conditions to commence or continue their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle and Sydney Campuses. The Scholarship has been established by the University in keeping with the University’s commitment to ethics and social justice, within a context of Catholic faith and values.

    To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

    a. Be from a refugee or asylum seeker background as evidenced by the applicant holding one of the classes of visa listed in Appendix 1 of the Scholarship Conditions which permits the recipient to undertake tertiary studies in Australia; and
    b. Have been offered a place or be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate bachelor program or in the Tertiary Pathway Program at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle or Sydney Campus.

    The purpose of the Internship Program is to facilitate individual professional development by building career experiences and opportunities in the Native Title and Indigenous sector, and to strengthen the capacity of Indigenous sector organisations by attracting and retaining talented Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.

  • Mannkal Overseas Internship Program

    The purpose of this Scholarship program is to allow students to learn more about free markets, economics and liberty whilst gaining practical work experience overseas. The scholarship covers all expenses associated with the internship program including travel, accommodation and living expenses.

  • Mary MacKillop Today First Nations Tertiary Scholarship

    The purpose of this program is to address systemic barriers to education by increasing access to tertiary studies for First Nations students. Throughout their scholarship, students are supported by a mentor who they meet with every semester for assistance and guidance when needed.

    The purpose of this Scholarship is to assist Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people who wish to undertake post secondary education. Scholarships pay for course fees for successful applicants.

  • Soroptimist International Fremantle Scholarship

    The purpose of this Scholarship is to support women who work towards improving the lives and status of women and girls around the world. This is achieved through programs which educate, empower or provide enabling opportunities to women and girls. Soroptimist International is offering scholarships of $1,000 to female students who are enrolled in tertiary education.

  • The Zonta Club of Perth Awards

    The Zonta Club works to end violence against women and empower women and girls worldwide through activities at a local, district and international level.

    The Yvonne Burgu Education Award helps an Aboriginal woman completing her first university degree or TAFE college diploma, valued at $1,000.

    The Zonta Club of Perth University Education Award supports a woman to study for their first recognised degree course at any Western Australian university, valued at $2,000.

    The Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Award recognises young women, ages 16-19, who demonstrate superior leadership skills and a commitment to public service and civic causes. The Award encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life, valued at $500.

  • The Zonta Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

    The purpose of this Scholarship is to support students studying at undergraduate or Masters levels in a business related study. The Scholarship is awarded at three levels valued from $1,500 - US$8,000.

  • The Shell Aboriginal STEM Student of the Year

    Value: $10,000

    The purpose of this Award is to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander undergraduate and postgraduate students who demonstrate excellence in STEM studies. A STEM course, for the purposes of this award, may be focused on one or more of the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, health and medicine. Applicants may be studying towards a Bachelor Degree, Honours, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters or PhD.

    To be eligible for the Award applicants must:

    a. Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
    b. Be enrolled as a current student in their second year or later at a Western Australian university in a tertiary undergraduate or postgraduate STEM course.
