Scholarships, prizes, and awards

Notre Dame offers a range of prizes and awards for students.

Funded by the University, industry, individuals and non-profit organisations, prizes and awards are available across all Schools. While the eligibility requirements vary, community involvement and leadership roles, as well as academic performance, are considered during the selection process.

  • The Toby Hicks Service to Student Community Award

    Toby Hicks Service to Student Community Award

    Value: $1,000

    This Award is awarded annually to students or recent graduates of the University from each of its three campuses, who have made an outstanding contribution to support and enhance the life of the University student community.

    Helen Lombard Award

    Value: $1,000

    This Award is awarded annually to a female student who has made an outstanding contribution to student leadership and the advancement of the Catholic mission and goals of the University.

    Value: $1,000

    This Award is awarded annually to a student who has made an outstanding contribution to service and the advancement of the Catholic mission and goals of the University.

    Value: $1,000

    This Award is awarded annually to a student who has made an outstanding contribution through selfless community service.

  • The St Mary MacKillop Award

    St Mary MacKillop Award

    Value: $1,000

    This Award is awarded annually to a student who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the Catholic mission and goals of the University. This student will have demonstrated St Mary of the Cross’ philosophy of “Never see a need without doing something about it.”

Scholarships are financial contributions funded by UNDA, industry, individuals and non-profit organisation that help students to start or continue their studies, without the added stress presented by the day-to-day costs of living.
