Notre Dame is excited to announce its new undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (Architecture), available from Semester 1 2021.

The Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) program is unique in Australia in combining the study of Architecture with a minor in a complementary discipline such as Photography; Archaeology; Environmental Management; History; Business Studies and many more.

FAQs

  • Are there any subject pre-requisites?

    Notre Dame does not have prerequisite subjects, however school leaver applicants applying for Bachelor’s degrees must achieve 50 percent scaled score in ATAR English, English Literature or EALD. Some ideas for recommended subjects include Design & Technology, Music, Visual Arts, History, Geography, Mathematics Applications, Physics and/or Psychology.
  • What can I do after my Bachelor of Arts (Architecture)?

    Some students may choose to apply and continue with the Master of Architecture, which is a necessary step in becoming a registered architect. Others may prefer to choose electives to allow them to go into careers in the built environment industry, or beyond.
  • What sort of courses will I study?

    As well as studying 12 courses of Architecture, you will also have the opportunity to study Notre Dame’s core curriculum and choose electives to create a Minor or explore your interests in topics like History, Journalism, Photography, Philosophy, or Archaeology to name a few!
  • What can I do if I don’t meet entry requirements to Architecture?
