Emerging architects talk

The Australian Institute of Architects together with the Emerging Architects & Graduates Network will host guest speaker, Katherine Ashe, the 2018 winner of the Emerging Architect Award at Notre Dame's Fremantle Campus over wine and cheese.

Members, non-members, current architects, emerging architects, future architectural students and those with a keen interest in architecture are invited to attend this exclusive talk.

  • About Katherine Ashe

    Katherine Ashe is co-director of the practice vittinoAshe and is the 2018 winner of the Emerging Architect Prize for Western Australia, which acknowledges achievements in the profession, education and research. vittinoAshe is an award-winning studio committed to architecture through the medium of making and working on a diverse range of project types and scales from visioning projects for government to small intimate projects such as apartment refurbishments for ageing in place.

    Katherine is also a part-time Senior Lecturer in the newly established academic team initiating Notre Dame's Master of Architecture program in Fremantle, Western Australia. This new venture seeks to embed students in local practice and to generate ethically, socially and environmentally responsive architecture.
