High School Symposium

Fremantle 18 Jun 2019

When you think critically and see the world from multiple points of view, you have the power to solve the world’s biggest problems.

Notre Dame's Symposium, especially for Year 11 and 12 students, will give you a taste of what it means to be a critical thinker.

Students will hear from experts in their fields and experience university with topics related to the ATAR syllabus, in the following areas:

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Politics and Law
  • Economics
  • Philosophy and Ethics

Critical thinking skills are essential for future proofing yourself to thrive in our ever-changing world. Knowing the importance of questioning everything to seperate real news from fake news and exploring other views before arriving at your own is key to be an effective problem solver and will give you an edge to stand out in the eyes of employers.
