School of Medicine Fremantle Anniversary Gala

Fremantle 13 Sep 2019

Invitation to the School of Medicine, Fremantle Anniversary Gala
Celebrating 10 Years of Medicine Graduates

To celebrate over 10 years since the School of Medicine Fremantle’s pioneering first cohort of medical students graduated, I am pleased to invite you to the Medicine Anniversary Gala on Friday 13 September at 6.30pm.

The celebration will honour this special anniversary milestone, recognise the School’s outstanding medical education, research and service to the community and acknowledge the vital contributions and involvement from all who have helped make the School what it is today.

Since enrolling our first medical students in 2005, the School has prided itself on excellence in clinical teaching, a growing research contribution, commitment to patient care and service to the community across metropolitan, rural and remote Western Australia.  In the last ten years we have graduated more than 1000 high quality, compassionate and ethical doctors who are now practicing medicine across Australia and leading the way to better health care.

These successes would not be possible without the support and encouragement of the Notre Dame community – benefactors, alumni, staff, students and our hospital and health service partners.

We look forward to reflecting on our journey this far, as well as sharing some of the School’s plans that will build on our distinguished history and opportunities for you to be part of this exciting future. I hope you can join us on this very special occasion.

Yours sincerely,
Professor Gervase Chaney
