In Conversation with novelist Charlotte Wood

Sydney 05 Dec 2019

When: 6pm, Thursday 5 December, 2019
Where: St Benedict's Hall, Sydney Campus - 104 Broadway, Sydney

Creativity, collaboration, community:
Join us for an evening in conversation with authors Charlotte Wood and Tegan Bennett Daylight.

Despite the persistent image of artists as solitary, isolated and tortured, creative people often thrive in community with others. From Virginia Woolf’s Bloomsbury circle to Elizabeth Gilbert’s online tribe, writers have always shared their working process with kindred spirits, consoling, challenging and inspiring each other to reach new creative heights. In this one-hour event at the University of Notre Dame Sydney, long-time writing friends Tegan Bennett Daylight and Charlotte Wood discuss how intellectual camaraderie and collaboration sustains their very different creative lives.
