Lucas living the Australian dream

"There's a lot of advantage being an International student at Notre Dame; there's lots of academic support, a great social aspect and good sporting clubs," says Lucas, a Chinese International student studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Notre Dame's Fremantle Campus.

Located 30 minutes from Perth City, Notre Dame's Fremantle Campus is a two minute walk from Fremantle's Bathers Beach and Fremantle's iconic Fishing Boat Harbour.

Speaking of the Fremantle Campus, Lucas says "The whole environment is brilliant – the sunshine, the beach, the food. The people are really friendly here."

When Lucas was weighing up his university choices, Notre Dame was top of his list as a stand-out University to study Nursing in Western Australia.

"All my friends who graduated from Notre Dame's School of Nursing & Midwifery eventually got great jobs and that's the evidence. They had brilliant reviews about the University. The lecturers and the tutors are really supportive."

"The University prepares us to be ready for the job and to be a decent human being."
