Record 12 years of top ratings for Overall Experience, Teaching Quality and Skills Development

The University of Notre Dame Australia is positioned amongst the top-rated universities nationwide – both public and private.

In an announcement today (Monday 24 September) by the influential The Good Universities Guide 2019 Notre Dame, which has campuses in Fremantle, Broome and Sydney, received five-star ratings in seven of 14 Institutional Level Performance Categories:

  • Overall Experience,
  • Learner Engagement,
  • Student Support,
  • Teaching Quality,
  • Skills Development,
  • Full-Time Employment, and
  • Median Graduate Salary.

For a record 12 years in a row Notre Dame achieved five-star ratings in three of the categories – Overall Experience, Teaching Quality and Skills Development.

The Good Universities Guide includes ratings on the performance of Australian universities using a broad range of indicators, including the Federal Government’s Quality Indictors for Learning and Teaching (QILT), which measure students’ and graduates’ educational experiences and outcomes.

To achieve a five-star rating in any category graduates’ ratings need to fall in the top 20 per cent across all universities.
