Graduate Certificate in Aboriginal Studies (Postgraduate)
This program covers areas of Aboriginal history, spirituality, culture, politics, and issues surrounding the principles and practice of reconciliation. Students are offered national, state and regional perspectives on issues relating to Indigenous Australians.
Students study a compulsory unit The Silent History plus three Aboriginal Studies units. Students will have the opportunity to study in Broome for intensive units, as well as have access to flexible modes of delivery
The program may lead or enrich careers in community and youth, education programs, local, state and federal government departments, healthcare and health promotion, and non-government organisations (NGOs).
