Graduate Certificate in Health Leadership

School of Medicine, Fremantle Campus

At the University of Notre Dame Australia, School of Medicine, we are dedicated to the provision of education that is designed and presented in collaboration with the health sector to support the translation of learning into practice.

The Graduate Certificate in Health Leadership provides a unique opportunity to study, network and learn from experts across the professions. The WA Health, Institute for Health Leadership (2019), leadership model focuses on ‘Courageous, values-aligned, collaborative and systems-focused’ leaders, which will form the foundations of this program. Provided in partnership, all students benefit from program fee reduction.

  • Why study this degree?

The Graduate Certificate in Health Leadership (GCHL) supports health professionals who want to consolidate or further their leadership career. The program provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the core principles of management and leadership within the complex health arena, in which consumers and their significant others play a central role. Students complete two core courses to support their development as a health professional leader and undertake a significant workplace project to demonstrate application of learning.
