Open to students with a recognised undergraduate degree or the equivalent this one-semester course covers subjects such as business ethics, ethical leadership, strategic management and marketing. The qualification will enhance your own employment prospects or can be used as a stepping stone to a Master of Business at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

    The corporate environment is rapidly changing due to globalisation and the impact of digital
    technology. Aimed at students with a previous degree, or applicants with industry experience but no
    formal tertiary qualifications, a Graduate Certificate in Business from The University of Notre Dame Australia

    Consisting of three courses and one elective, this postgraduate program is run over one semester
    full-time, or the equivalent in part-time study. Tuition is conducted in face-to- face mode and
    assessment is based on tutorial performance, assignments or projects and a final examination.

  • Entry requirements

    Notre Dame encourages applications from people of all backgrounds and takes into consideration
    the applicant’s academic performance as well as their personal qualities and accomplishments.
    Academic requirements are as follows:

    • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised Australian or overseas university demonstrating the
      attainment of satisfactory grades.
    • A minimum of three years’ experience in a management position. Recognition of Prior
      Learning may be granted to selected applicants who have no formal tertiary qualifications
      but who have at least 10 years' industry experience.

    Applications should be received at least one month prior to commencement. However, there are
    limited places available in postgraduate courses and they will be filled on a first-come first-served
    basis, so early application is encouraged.

    This Program has the following loan scheme(s) available for eligible students:

    The FEE-HELP loan scheme assists eligible fee-paying students with the payment of all, or part, of their tuition fees, not including additional study costs such as accommodation or textbooks. Your FEE-HELP debt will be indexed each year in line with the Consumer Price Index and also includes a loan fee of 25 per cent for all undergraduate programs of study.
