Master of Leadership DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE RISE IN IMPORTANCE OF EQ IN TODAY’S CHALLENGING BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, NOTRE DAME’S SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (FREMANTLE CAMPUS) HAS INTRODUCED A UNIQUE MASTER OF LEADERSHIP PROGRAM WHICH FOCUSES ON THE ‘SOFT SKILLS’ VITAL FOR CURRENT LEADERS AND THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW. Today, the ‘human side’ of an organisation demands as much attention as the nuts and bolts of the business. Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the soft skills – the non-measurable dynamics of the organisation such as attitudes, preferences, biases, and interests are critical to success. The Master of Leadership equips professionals with the expertise to recognise power dynamics and preferences in order to enable and empower them to manage these dynamics through negotiation while contextualising this in leadership theories. It also focuses on ethics and organisational realities and tensions while acknowledging and valuing different positions. Delivered flexibly, either full-time or part-time, in a blend of class tutorials, networking, mentoring and interacting with guest lecturers, the program is career relevant and contemporary with industry and the modern Australian society. The Master of Leadership has intakes in February and July each year. For further information contac t future@nd.edu.au o r 08 9433 0533. Alumni Magazine – Page 24 B U S I N E S S
