Notre Dame Study Centre Throughout your degree you will have access to a range of programs and opportunities to help you succeed at university. Most support is provided free of charge and is delivered via demand-driven workshops and individual appointments with a Learning Advisor. You can join workshops on topics designed to address the challenges common to university life, such as referencing and academic integrity, time management, academic essay writing, critical reading, note-taking, understanding feedback from assessments, and exam anxiety. Access and Inclusion The Access and Inclusion team is responsible for supporting students with disability or equity matters, and the planning and implementation of reasonable adjustments that may include the following: • Changes to examination conditions • Equipment and assistive technology • Services such as assistance with note-taking • Alternative format study materials • Individual study skills advice and support in collaboration with a Learning Advisor. Counselling Service Notre Dame provides a free and confidential counselling service to help you develop skills and strategies that enable you to achieve your personal and academic goals, making your time at university more comfortable and stress-free. Careers Service For free career advice, the on-campus Careers Service is available to help you access information and resources to develop your professional career. A series of careers-related workshops are also held throughout the academic year. For careers appointments and workshops, bookings are via CareerHub, which students can access through the My ND portal or directly at careerhub.nd.edu.au. Mature-Age Social Network Returning to study after a long absence can be a daunting experience. Many students juggle responsibilities outside university, such as work and family commitments. To address these challenges, we have a mature- age social network on campus to help students meet one another, exchange ideas, experiences and to provide support. Campus Ministry The Campus Ministry team works to promote, encourage and engage students’ faith on Campus and to offer the chance for students and staff to flourish and seek excellence beyond measurable academic criteria. Campus Ministry welcomes students of all backgrounds and faiths or no faith at all. IT’S ALL HERE notredame.edu.au/students APPLY DIRECT NOTREDAME.EDU.AU/POSTGRAD | 13
