DURATION (YEARS) The time taken to complete a program may vary depending on the number of enrolled courses per semester, the selection of courses, and/or major(s) undertaken. COMMONWEALTH SUPPORTED PLACES (CSP) AVAILABLE A number of CSPs are available to Australian and New Zealand citizens, and all permanent visa holders. STUDENT CONTRIBUTION ANNUAL FEES (CSP) All Australian citizens, eligible New Zealand citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders are able to access the Commonwealth Government’s HECS-HELP loan scheme to cover the cost of their student contribution. Ineligible New Zealand citizens and permanent visa holders are not able to use the HECS-HELP loan scheme and therefore must pay their student contribution by the first Census Date on their invoice. FULL-FEE PAYING PLACES AVAILABLE AND INDICATIVE ANNUAL FEE FOR 2021 All Australian citizens, eligible New Zealand citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders can use the Commonwealth Government’s FEE-HELP loan scheme to pay for the cost of their tuition. Ineligible New Zealand citizens and permanent visa holders are not able to use the FEE-HELP loan scheme and therefore must pay their tuition fees by the due date on their invoice. STAT The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) may be used to meet minimum academic entry requirements for this program. The number indicated is the minimum score required in the Multiple Choice and Written English sections of the test. The Entry Requirements table should be read in conjunction with the information concerning Academic Admission Requirements at www.notredame.edu.au/study/ admission-requirements ^IELTS Academic IELTS is the preferred English language test. The number indicated is the minimum overall score required. Refer to www.notredame.edu.au/study/how- to-apply for other acceptable tests and the minimum overall and sub-scores required. Notre Dame is a direct application university. You can apply online at notredame.edu.au/forms/apply Notre Dame is a private university. Does that make it more expensive than other universities? Notre Dame’s tuition fees are similar to those charged by public universities for Australian citizens. There are no up-front tuition fees for eligible students accessing the Government’s Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). Students with Commonwealth Supported Places who are Australian citizens, holders of permanent humanitarian visas and eligible New Zealand citizens have access to the HECS-HELP loan scheme. Commonwealth Supported Places are available in undergraduate Nursing, undergraduate Education and graduate-entry Medicine programs. Eligible students in other programs have access to FEE-HELP. For further information on university fees please visit www.studyassist.gov.au. Can I change my program preferences? Changing between programs is possible if you meet the program entry requirements. Please email the Admissions Office at sydney.admissions@nd.edu.au to submit your request to change programs. Are there any alternative entry pathways? The Notre Dame Study Centre offers an alternative entry pathway program, the Tertiary Pathway Program (TPP). Upon successful completion of this program, students can apply for an undergraduate program in the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Nursing, and Philosophy & Theology. The TPP assists students to develop confidence, readiness and skills to prepare them for Bachelor- level study. Can I do part of my degree overseas? Yes, you can.
