They invited the Coordinator of the Counselling program, Associate Professor Martin Philpot to speak to the group to explain t he changes and new opportunities taking place w ithin the program at the University. Mr Phillip Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Counselling Association also presented a talk on current issues within the counselling industry. The evening provided an excellent opportunity for Alumni to re-connect with fellow graduates, catch up with staff and hear about the latest developments within the industry. As part of the evening, four graduates from different sectors of the physiotherapy workforce presented aspects of their stories, experiences and messages to their colleagues and to the current 4th years. Associate Dean, Health Sciences, Professor Peter Hamer reflected, "The value of the combined Alumni and 4th years function was most evident by the current 4th years tapping into the experiences and knowledge of the graduates about their experiences, how to get the winning jobs, the places to work as well as renewing or making valuable links for furthering the step to the beginning of their professional life."
