Working with super talented colleagues and inspiring the students to reach for their goals. 3. When you’re not busy at work, what’s your favourite thing to do? Baking with a glass of bubbles. 4. What book are you reading at the moment? An e-book on contemporary issues in health professional education (for my master’s course!) 5. What are three things you cannot live without? Lipstick, friends/family and bubbles! 6. Where is your dream holiday destination? Maldives. 7. What’s your favourite movie quote? “ You had me at hello” – Jerry Maguire. 8. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? A full English breakfast with the lot! Kirsty Haywood 1. What is your position at Notre Dame? Lecturer and Professional Practice Supervisor in the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery course. 2. What is the best thing about working at Notre Dame? The strong focus on student pastoral care allows me to work within my personal and professional values framework comfortably. I believe that each student brings a unique perspective and skill set to the future of Midwifery and I love that as staff we are encouraged to nurture and support that. 3. When you’re not busy at work, what’s your favourite thing to do? I love to spend time outdoors with family and friends, hiking, riding our bikes along the coast, taking a picnic to the park. 4. What book are you reading at the moment? I’m reading “All the light we cannot see” by Anthony Doerr. It is a fantastic work of fiction set in France during the Nazi occupation. 5. What are three things you cannot live without? Good company, sunshine and coffee. 6. Where is your dream holiday destination? A month long trip through Spain eating all the tapas and drinking all the wine. 7. What’s your favourite movie quote? “Just keep swimming” from Finding Nemo. Such sage advice! 8. What is the best thing about working at Notre Dame? Location, Staff & students. 3. When you’re not busy at work, what’s your favourite thing to do? Family time, beach, yoga, sun. 4. What book are you reading at the moment? I haven’t read a book in about two years! 5. What are three things you cannot live without? Family, health, coffee. 6.
