CRN Research at Notre Dame

Within the context of the CRN, Notre Dame focused on growing research in health and wellbeing through collaborations with five partner institutions across Australia and engagement with local communities.

Research areas identified for funding under the CRN project were Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, Healthy Ageing and Chronic Disease Management.

CRN Objectives

To accelerate growth in research capacity, participation and productivity across the University by providing training and support to academics and research students through

  1. Research development workshops and mentorship to assist early career researchers and students with publications and grant writing,
  2. Collaborative activities and exchanges between the CRN partner institutions to assist researchers with their projects,
  3. Newly established collaborative networks and foundations for academics to foster engagement with (non-)government organisations and community groups.
