Reporting systems and processes
Research Activity Reporting
The Research Office prepares many reports on the research activity of the University. This includes government mandated reporting (e.g. Quality and Impact Assessment reporting ERA , EI , HERDC ); internal university reporting (e.g. Board Reports, School and Research Center reporting); and reporting for surveys that contribute to valuable industry statistics.
Research Activity and Output Systems
Integrated Research Management Application (IRMA)
IRMA is the University’s research information management system. IRMA maintains and reports information on research outputs and research funding. Research Outputs recorded in IRMA are also available in ResearchOnline so that the University’s outputs are accessible to the wider research community. University staff are able to view their research outputs, submit funding applications, and track the progress of funding (grants and contracts) in IRMA. IRMA is used to prepare government mandated reporting and other reporting.
Access IRMA using your University ID and password on the IRMA login page.
IRMA enables staff to view their research outputs, submit funding applications, and track the progress of grants and contracts. IRMA also provides a reporting facility.
ResearchOnline@ND is an electronic repository administered by Notre Dame. Its goal is to capture and preserve the intellectual output of Notre Dame authors and researchers, and to promote intellectual inquiry, research and cross-disciplinary collaboration and open access to research and output. Research Outputs recorded in IRMA are also available in ResearchOnline@ND so that the University’s outputs are accessible to the wider research community.
