Notre Dame is committed to investing in the professional development of our staff to enhance our capability and capacity to deliver on our strategic priorities and support career development.

Learning is an ongoing process. At Notre Dame we provide you with opportunities to reach your potential by learning through working and interacting with others, learning online, as well as formal training and development activities.

Staff Enrolment and Study Time

Staff can study for free at Notre Dame for up to two (2) standard semester length units per year; and access up to four (4) hours per week to complete an approved qualification to enhance their professional development. Career Development Funds

General staff can access financial support for career development activities related to current and potential future roles where it meets the strategic and operational goals of the University. Applications are submitted in one of the three (3) rounds called per year or at any time, depending on the amount of financial support requested. LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning hosts more than 16,000 video courses on Business, Creative and Technology that you can access to support your learning and development. WiserLife Whole Life Wellbeing

WiserLife provides training to support staff achieve wellbeing in their life. How we achieve wellbeing and what it means is different for each person, and unique to different stages of life. You can watch the recordings of previous wellbeing webinars held, just enter your Notre Dame staff details below to reveal the password to access the videos.


Library Services

Staff can access a wide range of library resources to support their professional development and studies. You can access a wide range of physical and eResource collections, eJournals and follow paths to learn how to use these resources effectively and how to get help when you need it.
