DVCA Prize for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Paper
A DVCA prize is awarded for a SoTL paper that promotes the wide scholarly dissemination of innovative learning and teaching at The University of Notre Dame Australia and makes the most significant contribution to enhancing student learning. This paper does not have to be a formal part of the conference presentations.

To be considered for DVCA prize
Papers should be ready for submission but papers already published or accepted for publications will not be considered.

Please submit papers in Word format as email attachments to the lto@nd.edu.au by Close of Business 30 August, 2020.

DVCA Prize Criteria

  • Paper is ready for submission to peer reviewed journal
  • Evidence of:
    • Application to higher education
    • Innovation that enhances learning and teaching.
    • Scholarly approach in:
      • Abstract
      • Literature review
      • Methodology/method
      • Results
      • Discussion/conclusion

Review process

All papers will be subjected to a peer review process by the Learning and Teaching Office (LTO) and the DVCA. Submissions will be assessed according to the criteria. See the SoTL Paper Rubric
