With the added pressure of moving to Perth from the country, securing an Early Offer for her dream degree was a huge relief for Amy.

“I applied for the Early Offer Program and knew I was accepted before I sat my final WACE exams,”  the Law/Behavioural Science graduate says.

“Coming from Geraldton, Notre Dame stood out as it felt a lot less daunting with the small classes and your connection with lecturers. It made the transition so much easier and I made a lot of good friends.”

Amy says it was the Law School’s leading reputation amongst graduates, and the unique Behavioural Science double degree that made her choose Notre Dame.

I like that the Law program offers opportunities outside of your studies – you can go overseas for a semester which allows you to broaden you understanding of the Law.

“Behavioural Science complements Law really well and has taught me to understand people’s behaviours and why they do certain things,” Amy says.

With a unique admissions process that goes beyond the final ATAR, Notre Dame’s Early Offer program meant Amy was recognised for her extra-curricular involvement and achievements as Head Girl of Geraldton Grammar School.

“I would definitely recommend the Early Offer program, even if you’re not sure what you want to study,” Amy says. “It will help with the stress if you do have a bad day during exams.”
