Notre Dame international student Felicia made the move from Singapore to pursue her passion to better understand and help others by studying Behavioural Science.

Close to home and in the same time-zone, it was Notre Dame’s stellar reputation with employers and unique Behavioural Science program that inspired Felicia to study in Fremantle.

The program that is offered here is one-of-a-kind in Western Australia, with a holistic approach to the study of people, rather than just traditional psychology

“Lecturers and tutors take the time to remember you, any issues you’re having and check in on your progress throughout class,” she says. “It makes me feel like they really want me to succeed.”

Felicia is also loving the Fremantle lifestyle, with the beach in walking distance and “so many quiet and quaint coffee places to study.”

“Living in the heart of the town is always very exciting.

“I’ve made so many new friends,” Felicia says. “It’s the relationships you build with people that make it feel like home.

The Behavioural Science student says that living on campus has made meeting new people much easier, and events for international students such as coffee catch-ups with staff members, helped her settle in to the community.

“If you love beaches, coffee, meeting new people and building friendships from across the globe, you’ll love studying at Notre Dame!”
