Why NDA grads are tops with employers

Did you hear? Notre Dame graduates have been rated as the best in WA and NSW by employers!

In a survey of more than 4,000 employers across Australia, Notre Dame graduates received an overall satisfaction rating of 91.7%, well above the national average of 79.6%.

What’s more, Notre Dame has some of the the highest paid graduates achieving a median salary of $64,000 in 2018.

Here's some of the reasons why Notre Dame grads are a hit with employers:

They're experienced

Interning during your degree is key to securing future work opportunities. Industry experience is often a highlight for many students and allows you to graduate with plenty of work experience, contacts and references to include in your CV!

They're critical thinkers

When you think critically and see the world from multiple points of view, you have the power to solve the world’s biggest problems. That's why philosophy and ethics play such essential roles in every Notre Dame degree. We challenge you to question everything, to separate real news from fake news, truth from lies and to distinguish information from knowledge.

At Notre Dame, you are empowered with the fundamentals of critical thinking. You learn how to explore other views then arrive at your own – to be an effective problem solver – providing life-long skills essential for a new generation of CEOs, entrepreneurs, leaders and global citizens, like you.

They've learnt from leaders

As a deliberately smaller uni, you have greater access to your lecturers. You learn from leaders in their fields who know you by name. This is one of the reasons why students have rated us the #1 uni in Australia for 'Learner engagement' and 'Skills development' (qilt.edu.au).
