New online course tackles the difficult questions of our time Master of Bioethics As we continue to manage the largest global health crisis in over a century, the need for expertise in ethics across healthcare and public policy settings has become clear. Healthcare faces an expanding range of bioethical issues and challenges, such as organ transplantation, genomics, reproductive technologies, euthanasia, the just allocation of resources, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and freedom of conscience. By integrating theory and practice, the new Master of Bioethics provides a strong Postgraduate Opportunities foundation for healthcare professionals to improve their bioethical decision-making. The program is suited to medical, nursing and other health professionals, technical experts such as legal and information technology specialists, and researchers and leaders in health and aged care. It provides the basis for understanding and contributing to bioethical debates within clinical, legal, philosophical and theological contexts.
