Changing between programs is possible if you meet the program entry requirements. Please email the Admissions Office at sydney.admissions@nd.edu.au to submit your request to change programs. Notre Dame is a private university. Does that make it more expensive than other universities? Notre Dame’s tuition fees are similar to those charged by public universities for Australian citizens. There are no up-front tuition fees for eligible students accessing the Government’s Higher Education Loans Programs (HELP). Students with Commonwealth Supported Places who are Australian citizens, holders of permanent humanitarian visas and eligible New Zealand citizens have access to the HECS-HELP loan. Commonwealth Supported Places are available in undergraduate Nursing, undergraduate Education and graduate-entry Medicine programs. Eligible students in other programs have access to FEE-HELP. The Notre Dame Study Centre offers an alternative entry pathway program, the Tertiary Pathway Program (TPP). Upon successful completion of this program, students can apply for an undergraduate program in the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Nursing, and Philosophy & Theology. The TPP assists students to develop confidence, readiness and skills to prepare them for bachelor- level study. How does Notre Dame compare to other universities? In our Study Abroad program, most degrees include the option for students to travel to partner universities in North America, Asia and Europe and have their studies overseas count towards their degree.
