Pathway program Students studying the Tertiary Pathway Program and who are awarded a Commonwealth Supported Place, pay no fees. HELP loans Students are able to pay fees upfront each semester, or alternatively, eligible students may access the Higher Education Loans Program (HELP). Students who are Australian citizens, holders of permanent humanitarian visas and eligible New Zealand citizens have access to either the Australian Government’s HELP loan schemes, HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP. Students should consult www.studyassist.gov.au for further information and up-to-date eligibility requirements. How fees are calculated Calculation is based on the discipline and study load of the programs undertaken by students. For the majority of programs, courses studied do not all fall within the same discipline. For example, if you are enrolled in a Bachelor of Education, you may take some courses of study that are classified as education and some that are classified as humanities. In this example your student contribution for the humanities courses will be calculated against the Humanities discipline, while the education courses will be calculated against the Education discipline. For more information please visit our website: www.notredame.edu.au/study/fees DURATION (YEARS) Normal time taken to complete a program may vary depending on number of enrolled courses per semester, the selection of courses, and/or major(s) undertaken. COMMONWEALTH SUPPORTED PLACES (CSP) AVAILABLE A number of CSPs are available to Australian and New Zealand citizens, and all permanent visa holders. STUDENT CONTRIBUTION ANNUAL FEES (CSP) All Australian citizens, eligible New Zealand citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders are able to access the Commonwealth government’s HECS-HELP loan scheme to cover the cost of their student contribution. Ineligible New Zealand citizens and permanent visa holders are not able to use the HECS-HELP loan scheme and therefore must pay their student contribution by the first census date on their invoice.
