Areas of Study Pre-Medicine Certificate Fremantle 4 courses taken during an UG degree at Notre Dame Code 0096 Studying for a Doctor of Medicine (MD) is demanding and entry is highly competitive. The Pre-Medicine Certificate is designed for students who are interested in applying for Medicine at Notre Dame, Fremantle upon the completion of their undergraduate degree. Spanning three compulsory subjects and one elective, these subjects are studied alongside your undergraduate degree. Over the course of your studies, you will undertake subjects such as Health, Medicine and Society; Culture Care, Diversity and Universality; Human Caring through Service Learning; as well as an elective in areas like Aboriginal People, Behavioural Science, Biological Science, Counselling Skills and more. You will be guided by the Pre-Medicine Certificate Team who will help you with your journey through the Pre-Medicine Certificate program. Please Note: The completion of the Pre-Medicine Certificate does not guarantee you entry to the School of Medicine. However, should you meet the required GPA and GAMSAT scores, and successfully complete the Pre-Medicine Certificate program, you will automatically progress to the interview stage for graduate Medicine at Notre Dame’s Fremantle Campus.
