Our programs

The School of Health Sciences is focused on graduating health professionals who are passionate about improving community health through collaborative practice. Our degrees include relevant practicum placements in hospitals, private clinics, and community health centres (as examples), equipping graduates for successful careers in areas such as exercise and sport science, clinical exercise physiology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech pathology.

Our new Bachelor of Health Sciences program (available online or on-campus) prepares graduates for the evolving health sector by providing a comprehensive understanding of human health, disease prevention, research, and health promotion. Similarly, our Biomedical Science degree prepares graduates for careers as biochemists, researchers, or biomedical scientists. For those interested in pursuing a career as a Medical Doctor, a Priority Pathway into the Doctor of Medicine program is available for eligible candidates. Likewise, for those aspiring to become Physiotherapists, pathways into the Master of Physiotherapy are also available.
