Facilities
Both Notre Dame Sydney’s Broadway and Darlinghurst Campuses provide purpose-built facilities for students and offer easy access to our libraries, coffee shops, student lounges, study rooms and academic support services, all within walking distance of public transport.
With its focus on preparation for healthcare careers, Notre Dame Darlinghurst Campus features simulated hospital wards and consultation suites.
Notre Dame Broadway offers specialist facilities for the programs on offer, ranging from media labs and an on-campus theatre to OT and biomedicine laboratories, plus a moot court and computer science lab. And there’s more! The expansion of our Broadway Campus includes two exciting projects.
The Blackfriars Precinct is the historic heart of the University of Notre Dame Australia Sydney Broadway Campus. This beautifully restored heritage site blends sandstone architecture with modern learning facilities, leafy courtyards and student study spaces.
140 Myrtle Street is a new addition to the Broadway Campus, boasting a state-of-the-art nursing and midwifery facility, to be in use from Semester 2 2026. This modernised building offers advanced learning spaces near the library, student hub and key campus facilities, just minutes from Central Station and the Broadway precinct.

Getting to campus
Located just minutes from the Sydney CBD, the Notre Dame Broadway Campus is easily accessible by train, bus and light rail.
Public transport
- Train: The campus is about a 10-minute walk from Central Station or a 15-minute walk from Redfern Station, providing direct links across Sydney.
- Light Rail: The Central Light Rail Station is a 10-minute walk away, with services to Darling Harbour, Pyrmont and the Inner West.
- Bus: Frequent services operate along Broadway and Parramatta Road, connecting the campus with the city and surrounding suburbs. From the city, catch routes 412, 413, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 480, 483 or Metrobus M10 from George Street or Railway Square. Buses from other areas also run via Parramatta Road, including the M10, M20, M30, M40 and M50.
The Notre Dame Darlinghurst Campus is also conveniently located near major public transport routes.
Public transport
- Train: The campus is a 10-minute walk from Kings Cross Station, offering fast connections to the city and surrounding areas.
- Bus: Regular services operate between Sydney’s CBD, the Eastern Suburbs and Darlinghurst, with stops just a short walk from campus.

St Benedict’s Catholic Church on our Broadway Campus is available for hire for weddings or other Catholic Sacramental Celebrations.
