  • Biography

    Kathie Ardzejewska is a Senior Academic Developer with Curriculum and Quality at The University of Notre Dame Australia. In this role she collaborates with and supports the academic community to design quality innovative curriculum that promotes positive student outcomes. She also assists academics to grow their evidence-based teaching practice and scholarship of teaching and learning. Prior to this, Kathie held the position of Associate Dean (Programs and Quality) at the Australian College of Physical Education where she drove several innovations including the implementation of transition pedagogies and technology enhanced learning. She was twice presented with the excellence in teaching award by the College. Kathie is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) and an accredited panel chair with the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership. She is an academic board member of a number of independent higher education providers and was an inaugural member of the Steering Committee of the Higher Education Private Provider Quality Network.

    Learning and teaching in higher education, with a special interest in qualitative methodologies investigating pedagogical approaches that supports student diversity, especially students on the margins, and well-being.
