Reporting systems and processes

Research Activity Reporting

The Research Office prepares many reports on the research activity of the University. This includes government mandated reporting (e.g. Quality and Impact Assessment reporting ERA , EI , HERDC; internal university reporting (e.g. Board Reports, School and Research Center reporting); and reporting for surveys that contribute to valuable industry statistics.

Research Activity and Output Systems

Integrated Research Management Application (IRMA)

IRMA is the University’s research information management system.  IRMA maintains and reports information on research outputs and research funding. Research Outputs recorded in IRMA are also available in ResearchOnline so that the University’s outputs are accessible to the wider research community. University staff are able to view their research outputs, submit funding applications, and track the progress of funding (grants and contracts) in IRMA. IRMA is used to prepare government mandated reporting and other reporting.

Access IRMA

IRMA enables staff to view their research outputs, apply for University approval for the submission of research funding applications and research agreements, and track the progress of grants and contracts.

The IRMA Coversheet – Researcher Guide provides information about how to complete the IRMA Coversheet to obtain University approval for the submission of research funding applications and research agreements.

The IRMA Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) provides information about how to access IRMA, how to use IRMA, where to go for further support.
