EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME AUSTRALIA

Audit Firms accredited for providing External Audit Services in a University setting are invited to express their interest for the provision of such services to UNDA. This EOI is the preliminary step in our procurement process, aimed at identifying capable and interested firms.

Submission and Registration

• EOI Deadline: Submit by 17:00 (WST) on 15 March 2024.
• Format: Email to tenders@nd.edu.au with "External Audit Services EOI" as the subject. Attach in MS Word or PDF, compressed if possible.
• Mandatory Registration: To participate in the subsequent tender process, firms must register their interest through this EOI. Registration is essential for prequalification.

General Conditions

• Ensure EOI documents are complete and comply with the stated conditions.
• Submissions should be free of harmful software. Those with viruses will be excluded.
• Late or hand-delivered submissions are not accepted.
• UNDA may not respond to queries received within five business days of the EOI closing date.

We anticipate engaging with firms that showcase expertise and align with our values and requirements.

Clarification Discussions

To further our commitment to transparency and open communication during the External Audit Services EOI process, we are offering eligible bidders who register their Expression of Interest the opportunity to discuss the tender and its requirements directly with our CFO. These discussions are intended to clarify aspects of the tender documentation and provide insights into our expectations from this procurement process.

Upon registering an EOI, parties will be invited to book a discussion slot within the specified window from 11 March 2024 to 15 March 2024. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes and will be conducted via Teams/Zoom. To ensure fairness and transparency, discussions will be documented, and a summary of all Q&A’s will be made available to all bidders.

Please note that these discussions are intended for clarification purposes only and will adhere strictly to our University’s procurement policies and guidelines on confidentiality and fairness. No specific advice or preferential information will be provided.

Details on how to schedule your discussion with the CFO will be provided following the acceptance of your eligible EOI. Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
