Leading self

Leading Self is the process of acquiring knowledge, skills, and insights independently, driven by personal curiosity, motivation, and initiative. It involves seeking out resources such as books, online courses, tutorials, and experiences to expand one's understanding and abilities. Self-learners take ownership of their education, setting their own pace, goals, and pathways to mastery in various subjects or domains of interest. This approach fosters autonomy, adaptability, and a lifelong love of learning, empowering you to thrive.

You are required to include this training session in your PDP and gain your managers approval to attend. Discussions with your manager should include workload contingency plans for the duration of the course so that you can focus on your professional development.

Cancellation policy
If you must cancel, please provide one week’s notice prior to the commencement of the course to allow someone else an opportunity to attend. We understand that sickness and misadventure can't be planned for but please contact us as soon as possible by emailing organisational.development@nd.edu.au. This will allow us time to notify participants on the waitlist.

Please be aware that any cancellations made with less than one week's notice may result in the registration fee being charged back to your department. Failure to attend the training program without prior notice may impact your application to attend future training sessions.
